My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

dob 7/13/24

There’s a property in Mesick where people seem to drop off unwanted animals. The woman who lives there tries her best to care for them, and when she asked us for help, we rescued Yates, his littermates, and several other cats and kittens. Yates and his siblings, all light gray tabbies like him, are the Cider Mill Kittens, named after cider mills and apples. Yates is a darling. He’s a gentle, sweet, calm little guy who just loves to be picked up and held and petted. He purrs on contact. He likes people and other cats. He hasn’t been around dogs, but he’s young enough that we think he’d be fine after a gradual introduction to a friendly dog. He’s a good eater and litter box user. We advise feeding him only dry kitten food. Wet food seems to loosen his insides a bit. Yates likes playing with his Cider Mill Kitten litter mates Jacob, Dexter, King, Bayne, and Jennie. He and Jacob are especially close. Check their pages too
