My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Why this pet is the one for you:
Baby is a sweet, playful young pup who is ready to find her new family. At just 10 months old, she's still growing into her full potential, and with a little patience and understanding, she'll be an amazing companion.

Baby has a bit of a shy side and has shown some fearful behaviors when meeting new people or when she is in unfamiliar situations, but with time, she's been able to build trusting relationships with her favorite people. She's a sensitive soul, and she thrives when she feels safe and understood. While she can be cautious, Baby is also very affectionate and enjoys gentle petting and attention from people she knows. She is looking for a patient adopter who can provide her with the time and space to continue building her confidence.

She's got an active spirit and loves to play! Baby is particularly fond of toys-she'll happily chase after a ball or play with a plush toy, and she can even exchange toys for tasty treats. She's also a fan of outdoor time, where she enjoys sniffing around and engaging in light, fun play.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
