My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fi is a very smart, clever boy who's always looking for the next toy to chase and capture. He loves wand toys that have feathers that flutter and fuzzy "worms" on the ends. He loves all kinds of toys, even crumpled up sheets of tissue paper. He's the type of cat who would turn just about anything into something to play with. Fi has also gone through some clicker training where he has learned to sit, spin around, and sit pretty. He is very treat motivated and a quick learner and it would be good to keep up his training to keep this clever boy engaged in learning new things. Fi is also a very vocal cat who isn't afraid to let you know when he wants something.

If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways:

Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.

**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.

All cat adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccine
-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV/FIV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
