Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Location: Decatur, IL
Rolf is a sweet and very affectionate puppy. He loves play time as much as he loves cuddle time! He nuzzles in real close when on his persons lap and looks very lovingly into their eyes. He is just a doll and a well behaved puppy. He is active and likes to play but not overly rambunctious.
He is having a blast playing with the other dogs in the home and likes to run with them in the yard. He is teething and everything is explored through his mouth! He will need chew toys to redirect his chewing to.
Rolf does not like to be alone and will climb an expense, but he does ok in a crate if there is another dog in a crate next to him. He would prefer to sleep with his person, but he can't hold it all night, so foster mom has him in a crate in her room. He will whine when he needs to go out.
Rolf is a good eater and growing everyday! He came into rescue with kennel cough but is done with his meds and ready to head home!
Rolf's adoption is $500. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, and has started his monthly heart worm prevention. Due to his young age he has not been neutered (we neuter at 6 months). We will reimburse $200 of the neuter when he is old enough. A neuter contract will be required. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
