Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Columbo is ready for his people!
Columbo is a 5-year-old, 25-pound French Bulldog that landed in a shelter when his owner couldn’t have him at their rented home.
Here’s some highlights about Columbo from his foster mom:
House trained? He does great going potty outside; however, does like to mark his territory and is working on that. He doesn’t mind wearing a belly band for now.
Crate trained? He does well in his crate, though he much rather be with the people.
Leash trained? He does great on a leash, with no pulling.
Dog friendly? He gets along with other dogs. He can play rough so his playmate should be around his size or bigger and not mind playing chase and wrestling. Any dog friend should be willing to let him hog attention without getting upset.
Cat friendly? Unknown
People/children friendly? He is great with all people but can jump when excited so older children would be best.
Overall personality: Columbo is a great boy who is eager to please and learning his basic manners quickly. He loves food and is very treat-motivated! He also loves attention and fluffy, squeaky toys!
Columbo is located in Cary, NC. Apply at https://www.bostonrescueteam.com/info/adoption if you are interested.

We have a very thorough process. We ask that people fill out our adoption application and submit to both a veterinary reference check where we call their vet to check on the care they give their own personal pets, and a home visit where one of our volunteers does a home inspection. Our adoption coordinator will also call the references that we require a potential adopter to list on the application. These references must not be family members. Our group bases adoption fees on the age and pedigree of the particular dog. We accept small Boston Terrier mixes into our rescue, as well as purebred Boston Terriers. Adopters also sign an adoption contract which is very thorough and requires they give the dog back to us if ever they cannot care for the dog any longer.

Go meet their pets
All of our pets are fostered in private foster homes. Meet and greets are available but must be scheduled with the potential adopter and foster family. We do host different adoption events at local stores when fosters and their foster dogs can attend.
