Very dog friendly- SHOULD go with another dog.

Shy, but quickly sprouts with joy and confidence if you approach her calmly, or if there is another dog to help her come out of her shell.

Likes to walk on leash, sometimes in between your legs.

A calmer puppy than most. But loves to shake her stuffy toys.

Crate/ House trained.

We try to make the process as smooth as possible and we want to set you and your new pet up for success. We always recommend doing a meet and greet with your dog before adding a new dog to your home and we are always happy to help with that.

We are a municipal shelter that takes in 2500-3000 animals a year. We are a small shelter with a dedicated team that works hard to keep the citizens and animals of Clay County safe and healthy. We rely on foster families and adopters to help us continue the work that we do.
