Meet Mocha, a 3-month-old female tabby with a gentle and reserved personality. While she may take some time to warm up, her sweet nature shines through once she feels safe. Mocha is getting used to small dogs, does well with other cats, and thrives in a calm, quiet environment. She may not be suited for a busy, loud household, as she’s more comfortable in peaceful spaces without too much commotion. With patience and love, Mocha will become a loyal and affectionate companion. Are you ready to give this shy sweetheart the serene home she deserves?

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
