Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hey there, hoomans! I`m Jack, a one-year-old border collie and healer mix, and I’m here to steal your heart (and maybe your snacks)! I’m deaf but awesome, my charming personality speaks louder than words. Plus, I’m like a ninja—sneaky and stealthy! I’m also an affectionate ambassador. Love? Oh, I’ve got an endless supply! Belly rubs and snuggles are my ultimate goals in life. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a friendly wrestling match, I thrive on playtime with my furry pals! I’m on a quest for my forever home, so if you’re up for some laughter, love, and a tail-wagging adventure, let’s make it happen! Your new best friend is just a paw away!

More about this shelter
Volunteers needed now. Are you an animal lover, do you have a couple of hours each week to volunteer? Many opportunities available. Work with dogs, cats, bunnies, office work, fostering and more. For more details on volunteering contact Michelle Maltun at (805) 345-5741.
We care for stray and homeless animals, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, rabbits and other animals such as chickens, guinea pigs or iguanas. We always hope the family will come to reclaim their lost pet, but if not, we work to find a loving new family for them.
We ensure that dogs are current on their rabies vaccination and license.
At Animal Services, our goal is to ensure that all the animals in our County have a safe place to live. We work hard to find loving homes for the many dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals that come into our care. Together, with community partners and concerned citizens, we are making sure that all these animals have a "Forever Home!"
