My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster was adopted from CRACC as an adult in 2011. In 2020, his owner moved to a nursing home and Buster came to stay with us. Within a month he was adopted, and everything was fine until a toddler started visiting the home daily. Buster began spraying the child's belongings. Buster has been returned to us and is doing great - no spraying.
Buster needs a quiet home with no children or other pets.
Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to counties adjoining Linn County, Iowa.
Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions.

All adopters must fill out an application available at our Adoption Center.
References will be checked and all animals in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on rabies vaccination. We conduct a home visit and have a contract for all adoptions. The adoption fee is $100 for one and $150 for two cats adopted at the same time. The adoption fee may be reduced for senior and special needs cats.
