Tybee is a lovely seven month old Russian Blue mix teenager with a soft blue/gray coat, heart shaped face and large ears. She has light green eyes and a big tail. Tybee was found abandoned at Hollenbeck Park with her Mom and siblings. This family was left behind in a small dog crate to fend for themselves when the Kittens were about five weeks old and that experience is now behind them. Tybee is elegant, intelligent, sweet and curious. She is an active girl who loves climbing up tall Cat trees and she’s incredibly affectionate. Tybee enjoys napping next to you while you work, waking you up in the morning, and she loves to comfort you by kneading on your leg and purring. She is good with other Cats and is bonded to her sibling Johnny, and they need to be adopted as a pair. Double the love and good times by adopting both Tybee and Johnny. All applicants are screened thru our application process. Visitors are welcome at any time to meet and spend time with our animals. Our information is listed if our volunteers are not onsite to answer any and all questions you may have. Potential adoptors are encouraged to call ahead to make sure the Animal they want to meet is in the cattery as some of our Animals are in foster homes.

Cat Connection 501(c) is a non-profit Cat and Dog rescue organization officially established in 1996. We rescue Cats and Dogs from the shelters and streets, take care of their medical and socialization and adopt them into new homes. Cat Connection is an all volunteer group with no paid staff. All donations and money raised goes directly to the care of our Animals.
Cat Connection Animal rescues include: Los Angeles County and City shelters, Animals from homes that can no longer keep them and sick and injured Animals from the streets.
Animals that come into Cat Connection are fully vetted, including testing for FELV/FIV, vaccinations, de-worming and treated for any illnesses and medical conditions.
Cat Connection is a no-kill Rescue Group; all animals stay with us in our Cattery or foster homes until placed into a permanent home.
We offer the public the courtesy of posting their Animals on our Adoption sites and social media if they need to re-home them.
