NEW INTAKE 11/11/2024: Trolley - male - approx 3 years old - 10.6 pounds - Poodle
Reason for intake: Trolley came to us via a rescue friend. He ended up with the Union Humane Society as a stray having been found off of Cherry Ridge Road in Farmerville, La. No one ever came forward for him so a rescue friend went and got him and then reached out to us to see if we could help. Before she did, though, she sent him to the groomer and to the vet. He was a hot mess. He did test positive for heartworms which we will address at our vet via the slow-kill method. He was already neutered. He's already at our vet so stay tuned.
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
