My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rose, a stunning 9-year-old ginger beauty with a lush, long coat as vibrant as her namesake flower. This senior sweetie is looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can spend her golden years in comfort. Rose is loyal and affectionate, forming a special bond once she feels safe and secure. With a gentle approach, her true warmth shines, making her the perfect companion for someone ready to enjoy her companionship and quiet affection. Rose is hoping to find a patient, loving person who will cherish her as much as she will them.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
