My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Lulubell is a pretty, petite and shy little gal, quite endearing, I would deem perfect if it was not for the notes left by her former family. Lulubell is a timid kitty, it is a given but spend time with her and she will lean for pets, roll on her side and carefully advance toward her visitor for more cuddles. She is sooo gentle and makes your visit really worthwhile(see video). Everything in slow motion....Since her arrival at the care center, Lulubell has kept clean and orderly quarters and used her litter box 100%. Owned since kittenhood, Lulubell was relinquished as her elderly owner could not care for a pet anymore. She would spray(she is not spayed) and have some litter box issues. It is not clear when these issues started and if Lulubell had access to a daily cleaned litter box. I would say that sweet Lulubell deserves a chance at a new life with an experienced adopter who(beside love) can provide the adequate settings for proper litter box use. She will also be spayed before going home. Lulubell will be thankful for ever to be someone's precious pet!

Lulu Bell tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior. Due to the behavior shown, she may not be a great fit for young children. Any home with older children prepared to adopt this cat should conduct a thorough interaction and endeavor to monitor this cat around their children to prevent these behaviors from being reinforced.
