My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Queen just arrived in Colorado and is SUCH a love! If you are looking for the sweetest, cuddliest, mellow small pup who LOVES lap time, here she is!!

Queen ended up at a Texas kill shelter with 6 other siblings. She was then saved and made her way into a foster home getting medical treatment and love before making her way up to Colorado.

What we know so far about her:
- She is great with other dogs of all sizes. Her favorite foster sibling currently is a 65 lb pittie
- Loves to snuggle, lap time is her favorite!
- LOVES to be carried around like the little queen she is (it makes her feel like a VIP!)
- So far she is doing wonderfully in the crate and seems potty trained (but it’s too early to know for sure)
- Started off a bit fearful in the shelter but has adjusted well to foster home life. This has still come over into the home as new people scare her at first but once she knows you she loves you fully! She just likes to bark at new people when she is scared but fosters have been working her through this!
- She seems healthy and active, we would not guess she is 10 years old. She is quick and spry and looks like a cute little puppy.
- She is the perfect mellow girl and will be happy just lounging on a lap

Comes with 2 free dog training sessions!
Comes fully vetted!

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
