Hi there! I'm Queso, but my foster family likes to call me "no puppy" because I'm already getting to be a big boy, though don't worry-I'm still just a pup at heart! I was born on July 13, 2024. I'm a playful, sweet, and curious little guy who loves to explore the world around me. Right now I weigh about 20 lbs and I should grow up to be a medium sized dog - maybe the perfect size to snuggle on the couch or go on adventures with you! I am super friendly and love all kinds of creatures! Whether you've got other dogs, cats or just humans around I'm your new best friend. I'm always ready to play and have a good time with anyone who's up for it. My foster siblings are so much fun to hang out with, but I'm also just as happy curling up for a nap after a long day of playtime. I've already got some important skills under my belt- I'm crate trained and potty trained. My foster family is so proud of me for that. I'm also really good at following directions (well most of the time), but I'm still a puppy so I'll need a family that's ready to help me keep learning and growing. I love getting treats and praise, so training is a fun way to bond with my humans. I can't' wait to learn even more tricks and be the best boy I can be! One thing to note is that I need to stay local to DFW. That way the Pup Patrol can get me neutered and microchipped when I am about 6 months old-just part of making sure I'm ready for my forever family. All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 (pups 6 months and older) and $350 (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
