Mav is a large male pit bull looking for his forever family! Strikingly handsome with a great personality, would you believe he was left behind after his former owners moved out?? Not only did they abandon him, but they abandoned him in a backyard in Houston for *2 weeks.* Finally, a neighbor realized what was going on and intervened... and now Mav is safe and loved with our rescue!

Mav is a big guy and is very friendly. Sometimes, though, his size can be an issue - as he doesn't always realize how big he truly is! Mav is currently being fostered in a home with small breed dogs (chihuahua and rat terrier) and is doing well. He is great with men, women, and children and hasn't displayed any aggression or negative reactions to other dogs. We have *not* cat tested him.
