My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Joyous! 🐾

I’m one of the adorable puppies from a recent rescue litter. My mom was found starving on the side of the road when she was over a month pregnant. Thanks to lots of care and love, she gave birth to me and my siblings.

We think I might be a mix of Hound, German Shorthaired Pointer, and some other breeds, but I look more like a Hound. I’m super sweet and full of energy, always ready for a cuddle or a play session. Right now, I’m only 3 weeks old, so I won’t be available for adoption until 1/16/25.

If you’re looking for a loving and joyful companion, I might just be the perfect addition to your family! 🐶❤️

More about this rescue

Welcome to Wild Woods Rescue, a grassroots organization. Our mission is to provide loving homes for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We believe every dog deserves a happy life and work tirelessly to make that happen. We travel to Vermont five times a year, re-homing dogs along the way to reach a wider network of adopters. Our dogs are housed in spacious outdoor kennels, giving them room to play and relax. We screen all adopters to ensure safe, loving placements. Join us to adopt, volunteer, or support our cause. Be part of the Wild Woods Rescue family.
