Jose may look serious, but he's just a big snuggle bug! This affectionate boy responds well to his name and loves to play chase and be chased. One of his favorite pastimes is giving kisses. Jose is also on the potty-trained list, as he keeps his kennel clean. He gives the impression of having been part of a family before, as he knows his name, sits on command, and truly appreciates human companionship.
Jose is a big boy who wore a serious look on his face at the beginning of doggy playgroups, but he did let his guard down and engage in play with another female. He showed appropriate greetings and was courteous. He's curious about other dogs, especially enjoys sniffing around, and loves the company of female dogs, making a tolerant female companion his best match in a home.
If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Jose 252865".
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 84 Age: 5yrs 2mths 3wks
