Adopt Oz - A Sweet 1-Year-Old Mixed Breed with a Heart of Gold!
Meet Oz! This lovable 1-year-old mixed breed male came to us in rough shape, suffering from terrible skin issues that made him feel uncomfortable. But after some careful investigation, we discovered that Oz has a chicken allergy, and since we've switched his diet, he's been on the mend and his coat is starting to shine again!
Oz is a gentle soul who loves attention and is ready to find his forever family. He's playful, affectionate, and has a friendly personality that will melt your heart. He's looking for a family who will continue to give him the care he deserves, and in return, he'll offer unconditional love and loyalty. He will need a cat free home but does well with other dogs and older children!
Apply in person at our Lacey location or online at ahscares.org

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
