Meet Shadea charming 2-year-old dog who is currently looking for a loving foster home or a forever family. This handsome boy was sadly abandoned at the shelter by his previous owner, who never returned for him, leading to a heartbreaking situation where he was at risk of euthanasia. Fortunately, Shade's gentle nature and loyalty to humans shine through, making him a wonderful companion. He thrives in the company of older children, as his size may be overwhelming for younger ones. Shade is well-mannered on a leash and is already house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. He enjoys outdoor adventures and long walks, showcasing his playful spirit. While Shade is generally friendly with other dogs, he can be selective about his companions and is notably protective of his toys. He takes treats with care, demonstrating his sweet demeanor. Shade is eager to find a family where he can offer his loyalty and protection. Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
