My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Alice!
Alice is a pure bred 8-week-old Cane Corso puppy. There are actually 9 available. We are normally a medical and behavioral Cane Corso & Frenchie rescue but we took this mommy in in hopes of finding a foster or another rescue to take her in and that never happened and she had her babies with us.
There were 10 total but we gifted the smallest one to one of our rescue partners to keep a lone Pit Bull puppy they have company and she is available as well through their organization. She is fawn with a black mask. We have four females and five males available. We have a blue brindle, a muted reverse blue brindle, two reverse brindle (tiger stripes), a traditional brindle, two blue/fawns, a fawn male and a tan/camel black masked female.
Mom and dad were living in a homeless encampment in Pinion Hills with a couple that had just lost their house. It was 111° degrees out when mommy was outside pregnant and they reached out to another organization that took her in and then reached out to several Mastiff rescues in LA and we ended up taking mommy in. She is a brindle female with the best temperament ever she loves to show off her puppies and she allows the founders personal Mastiffs and French bulldogs to play with her puppies all day long. She is available for adoption as well. We call her mama Lucy and she is turn-key, one of the sweetest Corsos we’ve ever come across in the 33 years we’ve had the Mastiff rescue. Dad is a blue brindle and remains with the owners. We had offered him money for the dog, but he wants to hold onto it as long as he can and we have offered to neuter the dog and he declined, but we are in touch with him and we will bring the dog into the program or get it fixed. These are the type of people that can’t be pushed. You have to wait for them to come to you. We do have photos and video of the dad.
Our founder is a canine behaviorist of 38 years these puppies have been hand raised inside unlike your typical breeder, and they have been held and spoken to by volunteers and men and women and children from day one and they’ve been integrated with the other dogs in the program. They are extremely social. None are aggressive and none are shy. They’re all middle of the road perfect and he’s worked so hard to lay down the groundwork to make these the best Corsos ever. We’re looking for adopters that can maintain that groundwork that he laid down. We can do meet and greets now and the pups can leave when they are of legal age which will be on Nov 18th. We have full pics, bios, description, and adoption requirements we will send if you’re interested in one of the pups. They have been dewormed twice, they are microchipped, have two sets of vaccines, and their spay/neuter is covered by us when they are age appropriate. There is a five page adoption application contract and health check that are required at the time of adoption. No Puppy will leave our facility before eight weeks of age.
Due to an overwhelming amount of inquires and in order for us to get back to you. Please tell us about your dog/breed experience, lifestyle, house/yard, area you live in, activity level, and all other dogs, cats, kids and other pets/people in the house. The more information the better. Emails without this information will be ignored. We prefer Alice to go into a home with at least one other dog or dogs and kids are a plus too. We have tons of pics and videos on request.
Please have prior/current Mastiff/Rottweiler/Pit Bull/Power Breed/guardian breed experience before inquiring.

Thank you.

Go meet their pets

We are located in the city of Van Nuys, 91405. We show by APPOINTMENT ONLY". We show seven days a week from 10am to 2pm, with special arrangements for showings after 2pm. Once an appointment is set via e-mail, the potential adopter calls the facility, founder, volunteer, coordinator, etc..upon arriving at the facility as not to knock on the door and stir up a barking frenzy with the larger dogs. Your personal and or pre-exsisting pets are welcome to visit to check compatibility, but we must be informed through e-mail so we can set up properly for visiting dogs.

All appointments and showings are set up and confirmed via e-mail. Missed appointments, no-shows, and late arrivals (45min) will not be shown the dog and or adopted to.

More about this rescue

Smashface Rescue is celebrating it's 26 year come Sept 2104 since being founded. Originally a rescue/rehab center for Pit Bulls and Mastiffs, the facility also temperament tests all bully breeds, boards bullies for those individuals who have a hard time finding overnight care for their bullies and Mastiffs. The Facility is 100% BARK FREE, cage and kennel free (except for feeding and sleeping). We specialize in anger management for dogs, dog to dog aggression, dog to human aggression, dog to dog introductions, boundaries, and overall socialization for your bully.Founded by a 20 year specialist and expert in dog aggression, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and American Bulldogs. The subject of many shows and articles because of his unconventional, but extremely effective techniques. Obedience training is not part of what we teach here at The Bully Connection, but more of a real life maintenance program that allows for you to keep, and have control over your bully. Structure, consistency, and exercise are the principles of the program.
