Meet Cookie – A Sweet Survivor Ready for a Fresh Start

Cookie is an 8-year-old rescue who has endured a rough past but is now learning what it means to be loved and cared for. After being neglected by her previous owners, who only fed her spoiled meat and kept her tied up outside for most of her life, Cookie is now discovering the joys of living indoors. Despite everything she’s been through, she has a gentle spirit and a lot of love to give.

Cookie is currently adjusting to her new life inside a home. She’s making great progress with potty training, though she still has the occasional accident as she continues to learn. Her foster family is patient and encouraging, and Cookie is eager to please.

Due to her history, Cookie would do best in a home without small children, as she’s still getting used to her new environment and might need extra time to feel comfortable. She’s also receiving treatment for arthritis, so a cozy home where she can relax would be perfect for her.

Most of our dogs are seniors and we like to place them with elderly people

We always go to the persons home with the dog to make sure it is safe.
We do some events as they come along

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
