Welcome “Theo” Theodore to CCPAL Rescue. He is an 8 week old puppy that is now getting weaned and will be ready for his forever home. He is a big puppy and should weigh 65- 70 pounds full grown. He does not have the Great Pyrenees toes on his back feet. He is bigger than the girls but not the biggest boy. He is shorter than some of the other puppies but he is big and stocky. He has a beautiful white coat and the volunteers here at the rescue have him bathed and brushed him for his photo shoot. He weighs about 15 pounds already. He gets along well with his siblings. He is one of 9 puppies. He has a wonderful mother and this entire litter is sweet and gentle. He would be great for someone wanting to raise a large breed dog. He is a guardian breed and will be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He will need a fence over underground fencing. This is typical of this breed. He is good in a crate and good in a car. He is decent at baths and has already had a toenail clipping. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. He is healthy, vaccinated and will be neutered soon and ready for his forever home. We will then do an interview with you and let you speak to the foster mom or kennel staff that know the dogs best. Once completed we are ready to set up transport to your area. Our adoption fee is 200 and transport aboard Rescue Road Trips is 185.

We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Our fostering program & training classes socialize pets & help make them more adoptable. Since February 2002, C.C.P.A.L. has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We currently house 100+ dogs and puppies and are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them permanent homes.
