Meet Burt. This handsome guy is absolutely precious. He is slow to warm up to other dogs, but once adjusted totally fine. Burt LOVES car rides, but a word to the wise, when you take him on a ride keep him leashed as he thinks cracking the window means going to explore all of the smells and he will try to get through the crack to investigate the big world. Burt loves people and sitting in your lap. He does wonderfully on leash. Burt is working on potty training and does not care for a crate. This little guy is truly special and will make an incredible companion.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
