My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shy!

This charming little pup is a delightful blend of playfulness and intelligence. While we don't want to jinx it, we're cautiously optimistic that he might be house trained! For the past few days, there have been no messes to clean up, and he happily uses the doggie door to go potty.

We believe he would make a perfect family pet. He’s submissive and obedient for a puppy, understanding commands like "leave it" and usually walking away from temptation—unless it’s a dirty shoe! In that case, he’s quite determined to hang onto it.

While he isn’t a fan of his kennel and prefers to be with the big dogs, he settles down quietly at night without making a peep. In the morning, you’ll find him patiently waiting for his cue to go outside. He goes straight out to potty and responds well to the command "sit."

He’s not very food-driven, except when it comes to really tasty treats. He has a fondness for raw venison and raw beef, showcasing his unique tastes!

Overall, Shy is a sweet, low-maintenance companion who is ready to find his forever home. He’s sure to bring joy and laughter to any family lucky enough to have him!
