Meet Pixi, a sweet Yorkie looking for her forever home! She is a retired breeder. At 7.7 lbs, she may have a bit more fluff than she should, but that just means there's more of her to love! Pixi was a breeder release and can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she's all about cuddles. She gets nervous with fast movements, so she'll do best with a calm, patient owner who can help her gain confidence at her own pace. Pixi is safest with a secure fence and a dog to teach her the ropes. She barks at the door but settles down quickly once she realizes everything's fine. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion with a little extra cuddle to offer, Pixi might be the one for you!

Pixi is skittish and does need a secure fence. She is potty trained to potty pads and to go outside. She is kennel trained.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
