Meet Freddy!
This handsome dude is just waiting to bond with his person! He is outgoing, talkative, playful, and very, very floppy. We first met Freddy on Harrisburg's Greenbelt, and he was eager to make a friend. Later, we found out why Freddy was so desperate to find someone. Handsome Fred had been abandoned! He was originally adopted in 2022, but Freddy's previous owner had second thoughts. As a result, they removed their contact information from Fred's microchip registration and dumped him at a trailhead. We estimated he spent about a week outside before we were able to offer him more comfortable accommodations.
Though he's not a kitten, Freddy is still very much young, silly, and playful like one! He loves to chase mousies down the stairs and jumps for the feathers at the end of the teaser pole like an acrobat, twisting and turning his body in mid-air! He loves to be near us, and every now and then, we can coax him onto our laps for some Fred snuggles. He is particularly chatty boy, and whether its because you're petting him or just walking past, you'll hear his bright little chirps. Fred is sleek and almost all black except for a distinguished white patch on chest that we like to call his "cravat."
While Freddy loves people, he's not too cozy with other kitties. Ideally, he should be an only cat or, if other cats are in the home, they should be evenly matched with Freddy. Fred is looking for his "ride or die." He wants someone to adore him, play with him, and spend lazy afternoons napping with him. He is a person-cat missing his person. Could his person be you?
Freddy's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
