My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This tender, sweet, super darling little lab lady is Coco. She is a wonderfully loving little pup who came into the dog pound after she and her littermates were abandoned. They were little and afraid in the pound, and fortunately found an unbelievably loving foster home ready to welcome them home and give them a wonderful foundation!
This adorable girl is about 14 weeks old and currently weighing about 24 lbs! Shes has had her vaccines, deworming, microchipping, preventative, and she is spayed! She is healthy and thriving, eager to begin life’s next chapter!
Coco is such a tender and loving baby. When she came in she was scared and her foster parents were incredible with giving her endless snuggles and kisses and she swiftly began to blossom into the amazing girl she is today! She made fast friends with every animal she has met! She absolutely loves having a doggy sibling! She super enjoys to play with other dogs and does so well following their cues and learning from them! She also loves the comfort of snuggling with a doggy friend when the parents aren’t home, so a home with another pup in it is a requirement for her. One of the sweetest things to see is how much this girl loooooves cats! When she sees them her tail always wags and she longs to give them kisses, snuggle with them, and be their devoted friend. She is so cute to see with her kitty housemate! She’s doing a great job going potty outside, and is so good in the house. She loves to have her time enjoying sunny days outside playing with the dogs in her foster home, splashing around in the water on warm days, taking walks, etc. but she also craves the time spent snuggling up on the sofa. She is a real baby at heart and will thrive with parents who have nurturing, snuggly personalities. She would love a home with a big brother or sister, with a yard she can play in, and with parents who will give her lots of love and continue to show her how wonderful the world can truly be!

More about this rescue

Great Divide Animal Rescue (GDAR) is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based out of North Carolina. We are run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly for the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful placement of the most needy of animals.

Our focus is to help animals of all species in need. We do so by providing services in both rescue/foster/placement of homeless pets, but we also partner with several animal control facilities.

Are you looking to help a great organization who saves animals? (primarily dogs but we have rescued even horses, pigs, donkeys, mules and kitties!) We would love to hear from you!
