My name is Shelby!

We adopted her from Facebook. She was left as a puppy with the rest of her litter on the side of the road. She is 6 years old. She is very high energy and fun. She loves to run in the back yard and bark at the neighbor dog through the fence. She is very sweet and submissive with her humans. She is a very healthy dog and has not had any health problems. She is also a great guard dog because she has a loud scary bark.

The reason we can't keep her is that she is extremely aggressive with smaller dogs. We have three smaller dogs, and she viciously attacks them. She killed a skunk in our back yard once and I think ever since then she is triggered by small dogs. She has a very alpha personality with other dogs. She is probably best to be the only dog in the household - or maybe slowly introduced to a large dog.

She also needs a large yard to run in. We have one acre and that is good, but I am sure she would love even more space if possible.
