This absolutely gorgeous, snuggly mushy baby boy is Gryffin! This handsome hunk came into the pound as just a baby, and the animal control officer immediately fell in love with him and reached out for help! She wanted to ensure he would have every chance to find an incredible future!
Gryffin is about 15 weeks old, and has begun his vaccines series, deworming, microchipping, he’s current on preventative and neutered! He’s a healthy, happy, bouncing baby boy and he’s ready to find the family of his dreams!
Gryffin is doing amazing in foster care and is suuuuuch a good boy. He is fostered with other pups and is so desperate for them to play with him! He loves to run around the yard and play and is such a good boy, rolling over on his back when meets new pups. He avoids any chance for conflict and just wants everyone to love him. He’s also fostered with cats! While he does want to play with them sometimes, it’s always friendly and wonderful. He’s doing excellent going potty outside, he’s great in the car, and he loves to sleep in bed with his foster parents all night long (though admittedly, sometimes this mushy boy does snore! And it’s just the cutest thing). He absolutely looooves toys and has the most outgoing, silly, snuggly, adorable personality. He’s learning leash walking beautifully and is always ready to join you anywhere you’d like to go. He’s most definitely a social butterfly and is great with any man, woman or child that he meets! He’s super smart and very much eager to please. He’s attentive, and the best snuggler you can find! He will thrive in a home with another pup to play and cuddle with (though he would also be a good candidate for doggy daycare), he’d very much enjoy a yard, and number one on his dream list is parents who absolutely love to snuggle! He’s such a big adorable baby and is so super affectionate. He’s always happy, looking on the bright side of all things and so enthusiastic to make the best of every day. His tail is always wagging and he’s always got a smile. He’s growing beautifully and ready to be someone’s big beautiful blue baby!

We are all volunteers- so until our dreams come true and we find some amazing donors to give us a facility of our own, we don't have locations that you can visit. We hope to arrange events soon, and when we do, we hope you'll visit us there!

Great Divide Animal Rescue (GDAR) is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based out of North Carolina. We are run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly for the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful placement of the most needy of animals.
Our focus is to help animals of all species in need. We do so by providing services in both rescue/foster/placement of homeless pets, but we also partner with several animal control facilities.
