Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a transport set up to leave SoCal on 11/16/24 to NorCal and OR. We would love to add Libby to our trip for the right family ❤️ Travel costs are in addition to her adoption fee. Travel costs/adoption fee are always due when we arrive in person with your new baby in hand ❤️
Meet Libby. She is a purebred black and white parti colored moyan size standard poodle. She turns 3 in December of 2024 ❤️ She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had an exam with our vet including a dental exam (teeth are in great health) and has been cleared to find a home all her own.
She weighs 32 lbs. Yes, she is at a healthy weight and is full grown! She is just naturally small, and dainty ❤️
She is crate trained, and will sleep in her crate at night or throughout the day to nap, or while you are out of the home. She also LOVES being out of the crate, and in a bed next to yours at night if allowed so she is very versatile and easy going when it comes to her sleeping arrangements.
She is house trained, and goes outside to use the restroom as needed throughout the day when asked to. She is leash trained as well, and loves her walks very much strolling alongside her person. She Is a bit shy meeting anyone she doesn't know, and will stay close to her human during unfamiliar interactions. She is one of the sweetest kindest souls you'll ever encounter, as her shyness just stems from living with a much older couple who were going through a lot of health issues leaving them immobile which kept Libby at home with them with not much socialization outside of her home aside from the short walks they could do with her in the evening that eventually stopped as well which led them to reach out to us here as they knew her happiness was diminishing as her world closed in and the things she once loved to do, they could no longer provide her with.
She was LOVED immensely in her prior home, and their LOVE for her pushed them to let go of their sweet girl so she can once again find her JOY ❤️
She is PHENOMENAL with other animals. Dogs, cats, chickens, and horses! She was raised with them all! She is WONDERFUL with men, women, and children once she opens her heart to them and knows they are there to love her 💕
She is GREAT on road trips, and LOVES any length of drives so if you travel and want her to always be a part of that journey she will happily join you on every venture you take ☺️
She LOVES her spa days with our groomer, and has been excellent on the table since day one.
She is very well mannered in the home. She is NOT a barker at all. She is very quiet. and serene tempered. She is an absolute gem and one you'll want to call yours at the end of every day ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Her adoption fee is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/libby.
It covers her spay, general anesthesia, vaccines, microchip/registration, her dental exam, her antibiotic shot that was given to aid in the healing of her spay and her overall physical exam with our vet.
As always; her adoption fee also goes back into the months of care she has recieved in the time she has been here with us, and the training we have personally done with her ❤️
