My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Surrendered to rescue cause I have a high prey drive and killed some chickens, as I found out that is a no no.
Louie Louie is a 2-3 year old Yorkshire Terrier, about 15 pounds. I am a bigger boy, I love going for walks, playing with toys, love older kids, sleeping with the kids, snuggling with my people. i do well with other non dominate dogs, have no been around cats, probably not a good idea. I can use a dog door, have been known to have an accident if don't get out often. I will bark at strangers, pet me give me a treat I might be your best friend.
I will soon complete needed vetting and be ready for a new home, no chickens please! I am in southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved home, email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com as for me, Louie Louie.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
