My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess may be a little hesitant at first, but once she gets to know you, her loving nature will shine through! This gentle girl is a bit of a mystery, as she’s lived a mostly independent life and can be a bit anxious and stressed in new situations. She's definitely more of a "watch-and-wait" type of cat, and she may need some time and space to feel comfortable in her new environment.

While Princess may be extremely anxious, with patience and understanding, she has the potential to form a strong bond with someone who is willing to work with her at her own pace. She’ll thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can feel secure and safe, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Princess is looking for a forever home where she can gradually come out of her shell and receive the gentle care she deserves. If you have a soft spot for shy kitties and are willing to offer her the time and love she needs, she could be the purrfect companion for you. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and FELV/FIV tested negative

Additional adoption info

We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $90 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private rescue. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond.

Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.
