My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Soleil! I'm a sweet and spunky 4-month-old petite girl, and I'm ready for my new adventure! I've had a bit of a rough start in life, losing my sister to panleukopenia, but thanks to the amazing care from my foster mom, I survived and am now thriving!

I'm spayed, microchipped, vaccinated with the RCP series, combo tested for FIV and FeLV, flea treated, and dewormed. My adoption fee is $250, and I'm excited to find my forever home!

I'm a beautiful black kitten with stunning ghost tabby stripes that make me even more unique. My foster mom says I have a little bit of sass, and I'm always ready to explore! Whether it's climbing to the highest point on the cat post, balancing on the back of a chair, or even perching on your shoulder, I'm always looking for the next lookout. I love to hunt birds-though they're just feathers on a stick, I'm told-I'm the best at catching them!

I enjoy playing hide and pounce, so watch out, because I might just get you next! I'm a great climber too and have even been called a monkey when I climb upside down in the dog's crate. When I'm done exploring, I love to see what my humans are up to and snuggle in for a quick nap. If there's no warm lap available, I'm happy to cuddle with my kitty sister or the resident Yorkie.

I might be a little vocal, but I just want to let you know what I need! If you're looking for a playful companion and a little adventure in your life, I'm your girl. Let's create some wonderful memories together!

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
