My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI ! I'm Huron. I have heard that tortishell kitties have attitude, and, I must admit, I kinda do. My initial greeting is a hiss and I back away. Once you pick me up though, I have lots to say and I like to be in your lap (or your face) demanding attention - when I want it. I have a super purr and really soft fur. I am a very calm kitty, and I love to "mother" other kitties. If there is another kitty, I will curl up next to them and lounge. I do sometimes like to play with wand toys, little balls, mice, strings, boxes, you name it and I will play with it! I also love to have my food! After playtime, I love to curl up in your lap or in a nice sunbeam through the window. I'm still young, so I would do well in a family with gentle kids, other cats and probably even dogs if you follow the introduction procedures given by Wild Blue Cats! I'm spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and FELV/FIV negative. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt me, please complete an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt. You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.
