My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chovie is a 4-month-old bundle of love looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is making great progress with potty and crate training and shows so much potential to learn and grow. Playful and dog-friendly, Chovie gets along wonderfully with other pups and loves to join in on the fun.

Despite her playful side, Chovie has a calm and gentle temperament that makes her an ideal companion for quiet moments, too. She’s very snuggly and will happily curl up with you for cuddles and affection. Whether you're looking for a playmate or a couch buddy, Chovie is ready to fill your home with love and joy.

Don’t wait—apply to meet Chovie today and see how quickly she’ll steal your heart!Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is thorough in order to ensure dogs go to the best possible home. We try and make it as streamlined as possible, and are often able to set up meet and greets with approved applications within 2-4 days. We often get multiple applications for each dog, and choose applicants based off the best possible fit for each dog.

More about this rescue

Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We aim to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in our local community. We specialize in large breed dogs (over 40 pounds) but do get the occasional small paw in rescue too! We work closely with shelters and other rescues in our community to target and save dogs who are at risk of euthanasia or have found themselves falling between the cracks of our animal rescue community.
