Meet Skylar, an adorable Shepherd/Lab mix puppy who is ready to find her forever family! Skylar was found in Louisiana with her mom and four siblings, but their journey has brought them all the way to New York, where they’re now thriving in a loving foster home.

Skylar has a heart full of love and adores people of all ages. She is the silly one in her litter and loves attention. She is so sweet tempered and is really going to blossom into a wonderful dog. She loves to roll in the grass and enjoys all the simple pleasures in life. Her adorable spirit shines all day long. She’s also fantastic with other dogs, making her the perfect companion for a family looking to add a sweet and playful pup to their lives. Skylar can’t wait to find her forever home where she’ll get to share all her affection, energy, and puppy kisses!

SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
