Meet Po, the sweetest little pup with a heart full of love!

Found alongside his three siblings in Georgia, Po recently made the journey up north and found himself in the comfort of a caring foster home while he waits to find his forever family.

Po has quickly shown that he’s easy going, super adaptable, and an absolute joy to be around! This lovable pup adores everyone he meets—whether they’re humans (young or old), fellow dogs, or even feline friends... Po’s tail is always wagging in excitement.

His happy, friendly nature makes him a perfect companion for any family. This sweet boy is extremely affectionate and loves to play, but also knows how to relax and chill out, whether it's keeping his foster mom company while she works from home or snuggling with his (human) foster siblings at the end of the day.

Additional adoption info

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
