Meet Joy: Joy is about a 11 month old (as of August 2024) pocket pittie mix (best guess) that weighs 40 pounds. Joy was found roaming with 2 other dogs on the side of the road in northern Mississippi after being dumped. Joy and her friend Jabberwocky were lucky enough to be saved and made it into our rescue safely. We would love to find them wonderful forever homes that will keep them safe and loved! Joy is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Joy was rescued when she was about 8 weeks old and has grown into a wonderfully affectionate puppy ready for a family that will spoil her with attention. She is having a blast in her foster home with a bunch of other dogs to play with! Joy is currently house trained to a doggie door, but we would anticipate her needing some patience in a new environment. We would love for Joy to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Joy is up to date on her shots and spayed. If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
