My name is Sterling D!

Sterling is a 6 month old border collie mix who is ready to meet her people. She is active, smart, athletic, playful, and sweet. She would do great with someone who is looking for an energetic dog to take on hikes or other adventures or someone who wants to spend lots of time playing. She also enjoys cuddling with her people and belly rubs. She is a quick learner and has been learning fast in her foster home. Sterling very much wants to please her people and to be with them. When she is not playing, she follows her foster parents around or is asleep at their feet.She is learning to crate train well, sleeps through the night, is potty trained, and understands basic commands. She enjoys playing with other dogs both small and large. She would do well in a home with other playful dogs or equally as well as a solo dog with active people. She has not met children yet. She has met cats and though she doesn’t try to hurt them, she does try to herd them. She would do best in an active home who can provide the exercise and mental stimulation she needs.
