Kee Kee Keeley -
Hey, it’s only been two weeks of vacationing with our pack but Keeley is quickly learning the ropes while enjoying some wondrous adventures.
Yesterday was her first Spa Day.
She was perfect!
Luxuriating in the warm soapy water she relished the soothing shower rinse and delighted in the gentle warm breeze while being blowed dry with half closed eyes. (I think I saw her smile.)
The Mobile groomer stopped by, and Keeley stood like a champion for all of his trimming and clipping - even her nails!
Her only objection was noted when he approached her sore mouth, but the makeover is complete. Her lovely golden hair radiates the sun like molten gold and Keeley knows she is breathtaking.
Keeley does take meds to help her adjust to all of life’s changes - but hey, don’t we all take a little something to get through life’s rough patches? - a Manhattan anyone?
Exploring new parks and places really excites her. She wears a beautiful new ruby red harness while meandering playfully during these adventures. But she also enjoys a quiet siesta every afternoon as do the other canines of the house.
Keeley enjoys car excursions if laps are available.
Keep in mind - she really hates to be left alone. It distresses her immensely. We are working on leaving her alone a little, more and more often so she understands that we do come back. But Keeley will need time and medication to level out the distress from years of never knowing what was coming next.
Stay tuned for Keeley’s next big adventure. Better yet, put your application in now for this lovely flaxen haired beauty. Call Marilyn if you have questions.
Keeley is staying with Don, Marilyn, Silly, Dooley and Laine in Sinking Spring (Reading), PA.
