Dear Santa:
I'm overjoyed to share my triumphant journey with you. As a former stray in Miami, Florida, I was once at risk of euthanasia, but thanks to the unwavering dedication of a devoted group of animal advocates, I was rescued and am now flourishing with my foster family in Middle Tennessee. While my three fellow foster siblings have found their forever homes, I'm eagerly anticipating mine.
My foster mother can attest to my remarkable transformation, as I've blossomed into a confident and well-mannered canine, overcoming my initial shyness. I've also mastered excellent potty and crate training skills, and I exhibit exemplary behavior on a leash. I cherish snuggling in my foster mommy's lap and snoozing away. She raves about my affectionate nose kisses and my talent for keeping her ears clean.
Since I am sure I made the nice list this year, all I want is to be adopted by a loving family to wake up with on Christmas morning.
Love,
Dakota Keith
Dakota Keith is the sweetest little old man who was a stray in Miami. He likes to get in my lap and sleep while I watch TV. He is blind in one eye and may have limited vision in the other, with some hearing loss. We are still working on potty training but overall he does great.
He does awesome in his kennel and gets along well with his 5 foster siblings. Dakota Keith gives the best nose kisses. A positive is he walks great on a leash. Speaking of kennel he knows the word bed and will go into it with no problem. A little funny about him when he is ready to come in from being outside he will bark and sounds like a bigger dog.
He has a great personality and loves treats.
Dakota Keith was so good at the vet's office today despite shaking from being nervous. He can see only shadows with the left eye and totally blind in the right. Not deaf but has a hearing impairment. His body is pretty beat up and has a lot of small lumps. Major issue is his mouth, some teeth are very loose, he has two that may fall out at any time and needs a good cleaning which is scheduled on September 25th. The old snip snip is on the back burner. He is absolutely adorable and a heart stealer. We went to Dairy Queen and he got to enjoy a pup cup. With the way Dakota Keith behaves it is evident he had been someone's indoor pet. Please send him positive vibes that he continues to flourish.
