Meet Miss Nellie

Nellie is sweet and calm. She would prefer to just be snuggled rather than playing and she is very good at snuggling. If she’s really comfortable, you’ll get a kiss or two.

Nellie is a chihuahua/pug mix that’s weighs a little over 10 lbs. She’s is almost 2, current on vaccines, microchipped and is spayed. Nellie gets along with all sized humans and dogs. We are unsure of cats.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
