My name is Pebbles!

Pebbles is a 3.5MO Terrier mix weighing about 9lbs.  Pebbles and his sister, rain, were dropped off at a shelter in Texas when they were about 8 weeks old.  From there they moved to a smaller rescue area where they were quarentined and kept safe until they were able to make it to CO about a week ago.  During that time before coming to CO their interactions were limited so they are now learning how to trust.  Pebbles absolutely LOVES other dogs and loves romping around the yard with big and small dogs.  He is the cutest little pup and you can tell he wants to trust so badly.  He has slowly started to come out of his shell but is a little slower to trust than his sister, when it comes to humans, he is GREAT with other dogs. He will come take treats from his foster humans now and even saught out snuggles the other day all on her own.  That being said his forever family will have to have lots of patience with him while you gain his trust.  He must go to a forever family with another dog (big or small) so he can continue to learn from another dog, and have another compantion to play with and help him gain that confidence he is seeking.  Pebbles will also need humans who can help push his boundaries and instead of making his world smaller by avoiding the things he is scared of, he needs to be pushed into the world and shown everything it has to offer, knowing that over time he will get used to the big scary world and it wont always be so scary.
