My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Timber, a striking 15-month-old, 55-pound Catahoula/Husky mix with one mesmerizing blue eye and one brown eye. This handsome boy is as smart as he is charming, playful, and friendly, making him a fantastic companion for an active family. He loves hanging out with kids and other dogs, enjoys going on walks, playing with his dog foster brother, and is always up for an adventure. Despite his size, Timber thinks he's a lap dog and loves to snuggle, often squeezing into places too small for him. He is house-trained and potty-trained, making him an easy addition to his future home, and is currently in training, working on his manners to become the best companion he can be. Timber was picked up as a stray in Houston and ended up in a high-kill shelter, but his resilience and bright personality shine through every day, and he's ready for his second chance with a loving family. He lives with cats in his foster home and is interested in them but respects their space. Timber would thrive in an active family that can provide him with the exercise and companionship he loves. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind, two-toned wonder—Timber is waiting to bring joy and affection into his forever home.

More about this rescue

Pep's Pals Rescue is committed to rescuing shelter & street dogs and cats then finding them forever homes. All dogs and cats deserve to live their lives showered with the love they deserve.
Pep's Pals is named after Pepper, a lab who gave so much love to the founder of Pep's Pals and her family. We carry on his legacy by loving and caring for the dogs & cats who need to know what it is like to be a part of a family. Pepper was kind to every human and fur friend he met. We believe that's how Pepper would want us to carry out our mission.
