My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lillybee is as sweet and loving as they come. She adores people, loves cuddling, and will likely want to sleep right by your side. With dogs, she’s playful and affectionate, and she looks to them for reassurance and guidance—another dog in her future home would be a huge comfort to her.

Lillybee has had a tough start. After breaking her leg, she was surrendered to animal control because her family couldn’t afford her surgery. Thankfully, she’s now on the mend and ready to find a loving home. Despite her resilience, Lillybee is a sensitive soul. She can be fearful of random things and will run and hide when she feels scared. Earning her trust might take time, but her sweet heart makes it all worthwhile.

Here’s what makes Lillybee special: Loving: She will happily snuggle with you for hours. Playful: She throws her soft toys, fetches them, and adores her NylaBone treat holder/chew toy. Active: With acrobatic antics and a love for jumping on furniture, she’ll keep you entertained! Routine: Lillybee has two bursts of energy—when she wakes up and again around 6 PM. Comfort Lover: She adores comfy dog beds and snuggling on the couch.

A calm, easy-going household with a canine companion and fenced yard would be ideal for her. If you’re ready to help Lillybee overcome her fears and thrive with love, patience, and care, she’ll repay you with a lifetime of loyalty, affection, and joy.

Additional adoption info

If a particular pooch has caught your eye or if you’re searching for a new furry family member, take a few minutes to complete our online adoption application or stop by our Adoption Events to visit with our adoptable pups.

Our application review team will contact you as they process your application and check with your references. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, but our primary responsibility is to find the best home for each individual dog and the best match for you and your family regardless of application order. We want to see that every animal and family are well-suited as a forever match.

Our adoption fees vary by the animal’s age and specific breed. All adopted dogs will receive vaccinations against distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus, as well as flea/tick treatments and de-worming. Dogs who are too young to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies will receive vouchers to one of our local veterinary partners.

Please contact us with any additional questions! We are available by phone at 847-566-6799, through our website, or through direct messaging on Facebook. We’re happy to answer any questions and work with you as you search for your new family member!
