Age: 3 Months (as of 11/18/2024)
Weight: 14.8 Lbs (as of 11/11/2024)
Location: RI
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Introducing the Country Litter: Loretta, Reba, George, and Dolly!
These four lab mix puppies are sweet, soulful, and full of country charm, just like their namesakes! With big personalities and even bigger hearts, each one of these pups is ready to bring a little country magic into your home.
Dolly is as sweet as a country ballad! With her soft puppy eyes and loving nature, she charms everyone she meets. She’s a natural-born snuggler who enjoys lap time and is happiest being close to her humans. She is being fostered with two other dogs as well as cats and is doing well. She is affectionate and goofy and would love her own home with lots of toys to play with. She is working on her house and crate training and would love to attend doggie school to build on her skills as well as continued socialization.
Bring a little country heart to your life and apply to adopt Dolly today!
Medical Note: A littermate of this dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. As there is thought to potentially be a genetic component to predisposition to this condition, this dog has been preventatively treated though does not currently show any bald patches and/or thin fur in places. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies. Please see here for more information on demodectic mange and talk with your Adoption Counselor about this condition. Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
