I was found roaming the streets in a small town in the Middle East. I was underweight, dirty, and very hungry. Thankfully, it seemed I hadn't been abused by humans while surviving on the streets, as I readily accepted food from those kind enough to offer. I've learned to love and accept human attention, it was really missing in my life. My rescuer saw what a kind pup I was, and found it in her heart to provide me a chance at a new life off the streets and in a shelter, where I've received vet care, socialization with other displaced dogs, and love and attention by the humans who work/volunteer here.
I'm a pretty cute guy-- have you noticed my sweet eyes?! I love making new friends with the humans and shelter mates where I'm staying. It's been a relief to be off the streets, however I know that there's a better life out there for me. I am a very smart pup! Eager to please, it doesn't take me long to understand commands with the right guidance. Given the opportunity, I will learn all the tricks you have the patience to teach me.
My rescue mom often tells me that I'm well-behaved and don't cause any trouble. I have not shown any signs of aggression towards people and other dogs. I really don't get a chance to run around at the shelter as I live in a small crowded yard with a small room but, being a young dog, I require daily activities and really want to be given the opportunity to run. It would be so amazing to go for walks and hikes with my forever family in Canada. I am looking forward to finding my forever home where I can settle down and make endless memories.

My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.
Due to the present confrontational Middle East environment where this dog resides, airlines are minimally operating. She may therefore be delayed in arriving to Canada. She will eventually be sent, but we have no specified timeframe at this moment. If you are willing to wait, we and this dog appreciate your patience.

Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.
Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
