My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet June, the adorable 7-month-old black lab mix who's stealing hearts left and right. June is the definition of a lovable Labrador puppy—full of boundless energy and overflowing with affection.

June is a social butterfly who adores other dogs and is hoping to find a family with one or more doggy playmates to keep her company. She's incredibly sweet-natured and never reactive, making her the ultimate joy to be around for people and pets alike.

This sweet pup is already up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines, and while June is waiting for her forever home, her new family will take charge of completing her vaccination schedule and arranging her spaying when she's ready.

If you're dreaming of a furry companion who will bring laughter, love, and endless happiness into your life, June is the perfect match for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make her a part of your family! Apply to adopt June today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application (best accessed from a laptop or computer) and get ready to welcome boundless love into your home.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
