Beautiful Baby Ruth is a 7-month old deaf puppy currently waiting for her forever family at the Carlsbad animal shelter. She is so cuddly and loving! All she wants to do is play with you and sit on your lap to give you lots of kisses! She may be deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from being her adorable self! She weighs 22.4lbs and is waiting for her forever family at the Carlsbad animal shelter in San Diego. She is also up for fostering! She can’t wait to meet her future family so come visit her at the shelter or reach out to Passion for Pitties if you have interesting in fostering or adopting her!

Submit Application

Submit an online application on our website and someone from our team will respond to you within 3 days.

2.
Home Check

We will speak with you to ensure the pet you are interested in is the best match! Then, we will schedule your virtual home check.

3.
Approve Application

Your application will be approved if everything checks and then you will be in our system as an approved adopter.

4.
Meet the Pet

We will arrange for you to meet the pet and foster family. All resident dogs must also be part of the meet and greet.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If all goes well and you want to adopt you will sign our adoption contract that we email to you.

6.
Pay Fee

You will then pay the adoption fee to us through Venmo or Paypal.

7.
Take the Pet Home

Congratulations! You can then take your new furry friend home!

Additional adoption info

Our application process is a no-obligation application. So even if you are not sure about a pet that you applied for, you can stay in our system as an approved adopter - unless you change home residences then you will need to re-apply.

Our lovable dogs are currently residing in various foster homes throughout San Diego. To arrange a meet-and-greet with any of our adoptable pets, please visit our website at Passion for Pitties to fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we will coordinate with you to schedule a visit with the dog of your choice.

As a dedicated non-profit 501(c)(3) foster-based pitbull rescue, our mission is to save bully breeds/pit bulls from shelters and find them loving homes. Pitbulls are incredibly social dogs that thrive on being included in family activities and maintaining their social interactions.
